I am the Director of the Children's
and Youth ministry here at Life Center. I have worked with children
and teens in some capacity since I was 12 years old! My husband and
I graduated from Heritage of Faith Bible Institute and School of World
Evangelism; Jerry Savelle's Bible School in Forth Worth, Texas.
After serving in that ministry
for several years we moved back to Georgia and worked for a year and
a half as house parents at a group home for 10 foster children. I have
been on staff at Life Center since May of 2006 and I feel it is an honor
and a privilege to get paid to do what I love! I never feel the dread
of "going to work" although what we do is definitely hard
work.
I have always encouraged others
"Find something that you love to do so much you'll do it for free
then become so good at it people don't mind paying you for it!"
It works
just look at me!
